Botox
How long does a treatment take?
A botox treatment typically takes around 10 minutes.
Is a treatment safe?
Because botox is fully biodegradable, it is one of the safest treatments for wrinkles.
Who performs the wrinkle treatments?
At Dr. Penny, only BIG-registered doctors will perform your treatment.
Can I go shopping or return to work after a treatment?
After the treatment, the skin may be a bit red and swollen, but this will quickly subside. So, you can easily go back to work or enjoy some shopping!
Will I see immediate results after the treatment?
After a botox treatment, you won't see immediate results. The first noticeable results appear after 3-5 days, and the optimal result is visible after 2 weeks. Since Botox wears off after about 3 months, we recommend scheduling a follow-up treatment to maintain the results!
Do I need to follow any specific lifestyle guidelines after a treatment?
In the first 48 hours after the treatment, we advise against exercising, undergoing beauty treatments, or visiting a sauna or tanning bed. These activities increase blood circulation in the body, which can cause botox to break down more quickly. After your treatment, you will receive an aftercare form via email.
In which cases can a treatment not take place?
We do not provide treatment in the following cases:
- Muscle diseases, such as Myasthenia Gravis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and Eaton-Lambert syndrome.
- Infection of the treatment area. If the area to be treated is infected, the infection must first heal before we can proceed with the treatment.
- Pregnancy/breastfeeding.
- Use of medication such as aminoglycoside antibiotics.
In the following cases, we carefully assess whether the treatment is possible:
- Muscle paralysis.
- Multiple sclerosis.
Will I still look natural?
Yes, absolutely! After a wrinkle treatment, you will still be able to frown, raise your eyebrows, or squint. We listen carefully to your wishes. Almost everyone wants to maintain a natural result, and that’s exactly what we aim for.
What happens to my wrinkles if I stop wrinkle treatments?
The effects of a treatment typically last for about 3 months. If you don't return for a follow-up appointment, wrinkles will gradually reappear after three months.
Fillers
Are your fillers safe?
Yes. All products are CE certified and comply with the guidelines of the NVPC (Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery) and the NVCG (Dutch Society for Cosmetic Medicine). The manufacturers of our fillers have thoroughly tested the products. To date, hundreds of thousands of treatments have been performed with these fillers, and they are considered very safe by the industry.
Why are your fillers so affordable?
We want to make our treatments accessible to everyone. That's why we have chosen to earn less from a filler treatment compared to many other clinics. By purchasing products in large quantities and negotiating competitive prices, we can offer very affordable prices while still using high-quality products!

Yes! You can easily switch between different filler brands, even if you still have some residual hyaluronic acid filler in your skin or lips from a different brand. If you're unsure about it, feel free to contact us.
